Sweet - Dulce
Basic Pancakes
Ingredients:
1 cup wholemeal flour 1 cup soya milk 1 beaten egg 1 tsp. baking powder 1 pinch of salt margarine for greasing the pan Steps: To make the batter, put the flour, salt and baking powder in a big bowl, pour in the milk and mix until even. Stir in the beaten egg. Set a non-stick pan on medium-high fire, add a little margarine and add add a bit of the mixture. As the pancake gets cooked you will see bubbles appear at the top. when it looks quite bubbly and the bottom is cooked (you can lift it with a spatula easily) turn it over and cook briefly on the other side. Then remove from the pan and serve. For a sweet treat, have with lemon and sugar or honey, with maple syrup and bananas, with plain yogurt and berries, with cream and chocolate syrup... or any other way you can think of. You can also have a savoury version, try eating them with cheese, mushrooms and spinach for example. Before adding batter to the pan, add a little butter each time. You can as well use plain flour and cow's milk. |

Tortitas
Ingredientes:
