Raisin Scones
Ingredients:
300g self-raising flour 110g butter 3 tbsp sugar grated rind of an orange 2 eggs 1 tsp baking powder 4 tbsp soya milk 170g raisins Steps: Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Line a baking tray. Put the flour into a large bowl and add the butter. Rub the flour and butter together with your fingers to create a breadcrumb-like mixture. Add the sugar, orange zest and baking powder and use a wooden spoon to turn the mixture gently. Make sure you incorporate all of the ingredients. Now add the milk and beaten eggs and keep turning the mixture gently with the spoon to combine, until you form a very soft, wet but very-little sticky dough. Add the raisins. Sprinkle flour onto a clean work surface. Tip the soft dough out onto the work surface and sprinkle some more flour on top. Fold the dough a few times without overworking it and roll it out to 2.5cm thick. Dip a cutter in flour, cut outs shapes without twisting the cutter and place them onto the baking tray. Re-work and re-roll the dough as many times as needed to use up all of it. Bake the scones for about 10 minutes, until they get risen and golden. Leave the scones to cool and eat. Split in half and add your favourite filling if you like. |

Scones de pasas
Ingredientes:
Déjalos enfriar y ¡a comer! |
